Consuelo Martinez holds a PhD in Hispanic Philology from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Spain), BA in Law from UNED (Spain) and Master of Arts from the University Francisco de Vitoria (Spain). In 1994 she began her career in the area of education for adolescents, joining later to the world of university teaching.
Throughout her career we have to underline her participation in many national and international conferences and research projects, being also the author of several publications.
Her concern and interest in contributing to the integral development of children and youth in situations of exclusion, especially those in conflict with the law, have led her to collaborate firmly with the International Juvenile Justice Observatory to support the achievement of its objectives.
Mr. Ignacio Mayoral
Director of the International School for Juvenile Justice.
Ignacio Mayoral is Law graduate and has a Master in Counselling and Family Mediation from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas (Spain). He has also obtained the Diploma in Advanced Studies in the same university. He develops his research in the field of Juvenile Justice through the following areas of study: child protection, juvenile justice, new forms of juvenile delinquency and the situation of foreign children. He has participated in several national and international research projects, publications and scientific outreach events. His practice in the field of Juvenile Justice permits him to know the key elements of the answers given by the different models used by countries to address the unlawful behaviour of juveniles and youth.
He is member of the Santander Faculty of Law and Minors Board of Advisors at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas (Spain) and at the European Society of Criminology. Ignacio Mayoral, as Director of the International School of Juvenile Justice, operates under the commitment of promoting the training of juvenile justice all over the world as a way to contribute to social development of countries.
Mrs. Daniela Fazenda
Secretary of the International School for Juvenile Justice.
Daniela Fazenda holds a Degree in English and German Language Teaching from the University of Aveiro (Portugal), having obtained the qualification of Diploma of Advanced Studies from the University of Salamanca (Spain). At the present, Mrs. Fazenda is carrying out her doctorial thesis in collaboration with the University of Salamanca’s K Sigma research group on Educational Technology.
Mrs. Fazenda coordinatinated several teams of skills-recognition and validation of competences in Portugal at the Institute of Employment and Vocational Training and also managed several European iniciatives especially on the development of women's leadership competences in through EQUAL programme.
Within the IJJO, Daniela Fazenda manages the European and international research projects and also collaborates in the development of the International School for Juvenile Justice.
